Causes Of Nappy Rash

There are some following reasons of Nappy Rash:

prolonged contact with urine:
When urine comes into contact with faeces, this results in the formation of ammonia which irritates the baby's skin.
reaction to the chemicals (including perfumes) in the laundry detergent, nappy soak or baby wipes - all babies have very sensitive skins which are in contact with the nappies and wiped with the baby wipes;

Teething:
Can cause the urine making it more acidic - When the baby is teething the stomach produces more acid to compensate; when the baby is weaning some foods may produce a more acidic urine;

The following are thew tips for avoiding nappy rashes:

As we know that the modern disposable nappies are very absorbent, they should not be left on when they have been soiled whether with poo or wee.
If you are using cloth nappies, you can try putting a liner on the inside of the nappy to help draw the moisture away from the skin. Disposable liners can be bought in supermarkets or a cheap reusable alternative is to buy a length of fleecy material and cut it into rectangles to fit between your baby's bottom and the nappy.
Increase the amount of nappy-free time. Fresh air helps keep the skin dry. You might choose to make nappy free time for a while after each nappy change.
Try a different laundry detergent or nappy soak. Use those without perfumes. Try different baby wipes - in particular, don't use adult hand-wipes on your baby as these frequently have alcohol which is not good for sensitive skins.
Use different (unscented) bath products or even just water. Little babies do not need a lot of cleaning;
If you are using cloth nappies with waterproof overpants, ensure that the overpants are breathable as these allow the air to circulate.
Use a nappy cream on the baby's skin to provide a barrier to help keep urine away from the skin.

May be some babies get nappy rash very easily and others don't beacuse we know that every baby is different - so there is no single solution that will work all the time for all babies. Having said that, one of the best products I have found for clearing up nappy rash is Simmon's Paw Paw Salve. It is all natural and contains no petrochemicals which is important to me. Putting a little on the affected area has it cleared up in no time. And it is soothing on the baby's skin. Paw Paw has so many health benefits it's not surprising that it can be used for this. Of course, this should not be taken as medical advice and if symptoms persist you should consult your health care professional.
The fruit can also be used in salves or creams and applied to the skin for the relief of many conditions.

Baby Shower

Baby showers:

A baby shower is usually a relatively casual event, held in the afternoon or early evening, often with refreshments provided and sometimes party games held as well. It is not uncommon to have a potluck shower, where guests each bring a food item along with a gift, although fully catered showers are also quite common. Party games, if the host chooses to have them, generally center around the general theme of the baby and pregnancy, ranging from themed versions traditional games like charades to activities such as guessing the circumference of the pregnant guest-of-honor.
While many parents-to-be look forward to having a baby shower, some social groups feel such celebrations are best left as family affairs, or believe that it is bad luck to celebrate a birth before it happens. If you offer to host a shower for an expectant friend, don't be hurt if she politely declines. In other cases, the mother-to-be may have multiple showers! Perhaps one for co-workers and casual friends, and one for close friends and family. Some women have a baby shower only for their first child, while others may choose to have one for every pregnancy.

Baby showers are not bound by rigid traditions to the same extent as weddings and other life events, so don't be surprised if a new friend's baby shower is nothing like the last one you attended. There is really no "wrong" way to throw a baby shower, so if you have been charged with hosting a shower for a friend or relative, it's an "anything goes" affair (so long as you have the guest of honor's stamp of approval for your plans!).

Different Causes Nappy Rash

Nappy rash:

It is a very common problem mainly infants are the target of this problem.
Mainly infants suffered inflammation in the skin where nappy is used.
Infants are Irritated in the area surrounding the nappy which indicates the symptom of nappy rash.

Spots or blotches.
These may appear in the affected area.The most of the nappy rashes are soft in nature and can be treated with simple skincare products. Nappy rash can also create a problem due to eczema. If your child is already suffering from eczema, the skin around the nappy area can become dry and sore. Moreover, your child will not be able to find a relief from nappy rash even after frequent nappy changes, if he/she is suffering from eczema.
Treatments For Nappy Rash:
If the nappy rash is mild then there is no need for any medication or specialist treatment. Instead, there are a number of steps that you can take to help safely treat the rash at home. Some of these steps are outlined below.
Change the nappy of your baby regularly. Be sure to replace the soiled nappy with a new one, whenever your baby defecates. Even if a nappy can soak the urine for a long time, it is better to change it frequently.
Leave your baby to play around without wearing a nappy, as long as possible. He/she would feel better without the nappy. Moreover, the rash will be healed quickly.
Do not forget to follow a skincare routine for your baby. Clean the genital areas of the baby, every time after he/she defecates. Allow the area to dry completely, before putting on a new diaper.
You may cover your baby's nappy area with a thin layer of protective ointment or a baby's powder. Do this only after ensuring that your baby is not allergic to such products.
Allow room for air to circulate in the nappy area. Therefore, do not tighten the diaper too much. Nappies should fit somewhat loosely, so that the area of the body is allowed to 'breathe'.
A normal nappy rash may continue for two to three days. If the condition persists for more than five days, consult a doctor and get a medicine prescribed for the same.
